Mechanical Shock Testing

Senior Aerospace SSP Engineering Labs has various Mechanical ShockTest Capabilities to support customer requirements.

Mechanical Shock Testing Experience

Mechanical shock testing is used to simulate abrupt changes in motion and acceleration typically seen by a component during operation, handling, or transport. Typically, shock tests are run in conjunction with vibration tests on our electrodynamic shaker tables.

Our Engineering Test Lab has extensive experience running operational shock and crashes safety evaluation tests per RTCA-DO- 160 on high-pressure ducting systems. Our equipment and data acquisition capabilities can help gather strain and acceleration response data of complex systems to the application of a shock load.
